What to Have Ready Before You Call
This isn't a requirement — it's a shortcut. The more of this you have, the faster your first call goes.
- Defendant's full legal name
- Date of birth, if known
- County and jail or detention facility, if known
- Booking/inmate number, if known
- Charges and bond amount, if known
- Approximate arrest or booking time, if known
- Caller/co-signer's name, phone number, and relationship to the defendant
- Government-issued identification, when requested for paperwork
- Basic residence and employment information that may be requested during qualification
- Be prepared to discuss payment and any collateral requirements that may apply
